Will artificial intelligence (AI) soon replace doctors, or will we simply diagnose ourselves in the future using smart, wearable sensor technology?
Both visions will hardly apply to the diagnostics of the future. But the fact is that doctors have an ever-increasing amount of information and data at their disposal for diagnosis, which increasingly comes from mobile or wearable sensors and can hardly be interpreted without artificial intelligence.
At the Innovation Day Diagnostics 4.0 at BioPark Regensburg, the possibilities of AI in (laboratory) diagnostics will be presented and, in particular, the requirements for interoperability will be discussed.
